Terms of service
These terms apply when you use adoniart.com or buy from Adoni Art (Adoni Astrinakis, Melbourne, Australia, ABN 52 308 210 950). By ordering you accept them.
The work. Originals are one-of-a-kind paintings in acrylics or oils. Prints are signed, numbered giclées in an edition of 250 unless stated otherwise. Sizes are the full sheet, including the white border used for the signature and edition number. Framing is by request only and is charged separately.
Orders and payment. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify Payments, Shop Pay or PayPal. We may refuse or cancel an order if there is an obvious pricing error, we cannot fulfil it, or payment fails.
Commissions. A 50% deposit is payable when the commission is agreed. That deposit is not refundable if you cancel. The balance is due within 7 days of invoice. Written quotes are valid for 30 days.
Copyright. Adoni Astrinakis retains copyright in every work and in every image on this site. Buying a painting or a print does not transfer copyright. You may display the work in your home or workplace. You may not copy, reproduce, publish or commercialise it.
On a commissioned original we may photograph the finished work and use those images on adoniart.com, social media, print and other advertising and publicity, and we may issue a print edition of the image, unless a paid buyout has been signed before the work is finished. If the commission includes an identifiable person and you do not want that image used publicly, say so in writing when the commission is agreed.
Reference photographs taken by Adoni Astrinakis as part of a commission remain the property of Adoni Astrinakis. Copyright in those photographs stays with the artist. They may be used to make the commissioned work, to make later works, and, unless a paid buyout has been signed, for the same marketing, website and social uses set out above. If the photographs include an identifiable person and you do not want them used for later works or publicly, say so in writing when the commission is agreed.
Promotions. Discount codes apply only as stated in the offer. They do not apply to original paintings unless we say so, and they cannot be combined.
Liability. Except as required by the Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to the price of the order.
Changes. We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use of the site is acceptance of the current version.
Law. These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia.
